Luxury vinyl floors will need regular sweeping to look great and function well. When you sweep, you are helping to remove dirt and other debris that can scratch your luxury vinyl and cause it to take on a weathered look and feel. How often you need to sweep will depend on the traffic that your luxury vinyl receives.
You may also elect to damp mop your luxury vinyl floors for a deeper clean. Make sure that the mop is damp as opposed to soaking wet. Using too much water when you mop is a surefire way to lead to damage.
Dealing With Luxury Vinyl Spills & Stains
Luxury vinyl floors are tough on both solid and liquid messes. But just because luxury vinyl is durable, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't address messes immediately after they occur.
For solid messes, sweep them up immediately to avoid lingering damage to your luxury vinyl floors. For liquid messes, grab a cloth or towel and wipe up the substance right away.

I love Carpet Plus Flooring Designs! They went above and beyond on my kitchen floors, Bathroom, And hallway. From start to finish, they went above and beyond! They had to come back out to change a few boards out that just didn’t look right. Adam, the owner even came over to see the project! He could not have been more helpful! He even went and got different quarter round and stained it on his weekend! To change out one that didn’t match quite right! Chad was so helpful, finishing out where the floors that meet the carpet, Super nice guy! Ronny The installer was so easy to work with very sweet! He did a great job! CarpetPLUS redid the carpet in all of my house. They were very helpful and honest when choosing carpets and very accommodating on when I got the carpet done. There were a few things the installers missed solely because I was the one who removed the carpet and they weren’t normally carpeted spots and they happily came back and fixed them up.
