Vacuum your area rugs regularly to keep them looking pristine. Vacuuming is important as it helps to remove dirt, dust, and other debris that can build up in the fibers of your rug. This debris can cause premature aging, loss of color, and an overall shoddy appearance. How often you vacuum will depend on the foot traffic the rug receives. At a minimum, you should be doing so once a week.
Placing mats at the entrances of your home will also help to prolong the beauty of your area rug. You should always remove shoes before walking across the rug as well.
Dealing With Area Rug Spills & Stains
Much like carpet, area rugs are somewhat vulnerable to spills and stains. But if you act fast when an accident occurs, you help to minimize the lingering damage that takes place.
Address liquid spills immediately after they occur. The longer you wait to address liquid spills or messes, the more likely it is that the spill will become a stain that lasts. Find a clean cloth and absorb the substance before using another cloth to blot out the spill with cold water. If the mess persists, consult your manufacturer for approved cleaning solutions.
Solid messes can usually be vacuumed up without any issues.

Carpets plus floored our whole apartment and they did a wonderful job! When we asked for the best carpet they gave it to us! And when we asked for the best wood flooring that doesn't scratch and won't get damaged we got it! They did an amazing job, they gave us carpet that will last for 10 or more years, stain free and damage tolerant. I have never seen flooring as nice as this, I defiantly suggest going to carpets plus for your flooring. They are the best you will find!
